The Ford Fiesta is one of the europe best selling cars and the next generation model will be unveiled at the Geneva show in March.

The new Fiesta will be much the same in looks to the Verve concept cars that Ford has displayed at recent motor shows.

In Geneva, the new Fiesta will be revealed in three- and four-door body styles, with the styling based on Ford's new 'kinetic design' philosophy.

Ford promises the Fiesta will have a sleek modern cabin that incorporates all of its latest technology for hands-free phones, Bluetooth and MP3 players.

The engine range is made up from 1.25-, 1.4- and 1.6-litre petrol engines alongside 1.4- and 1.6-litre turbodiesels.

Towards the end of 2008, Ford will also begin sales of its Fiesta Econetic that will have carbon dioxide emissions of less than 100g/km and excellent fuel economy.
